Player Development
The Player Development Program (PDP) is a program that sits at the heart of developing the life of a player from different aspects whilst a player for the team. This compulsory program aims to ensure that players have a firm grip over their education and/or employment prospects and do not dwell away from the wider society. The program aims to establish a relationship with the player and any institutes that contribute to the players development away from football. Using this relationship we are able to regularly arrange reviews with the player and provide relevant advice.
Compulsory Program
The PDP is a compulsory program. This means not only are players required to comply with its requirements, players are also required to ensure the results of the PDP are satisfactory which if they fail to do so will result in penalties in the team. The PDP has its own set of Disciplinary Rules that will apply if a player does not comply or achieves below satisfactory.
Not Just Football
We decided to implement PDP, because our team is not just based around playing football. We want to create a team that is aware of its players and its players are aided in safeguarding their future. NOT only is this a team, this is a service that would benefit anybody out there.
We believe the PDP will not deter payers from joining the club. The information required, the targets required and the contacts required for verification are all reasonably relaxed, therefore this service does not in goodwill’s name invade the privacy of its players.
